Emmrich is a talented necromancer with the ability to sense and commune with spirits (e.g. he informs Lucanis, who hosts the demon known as Spite, that he can converse with Spite if he is standing close enough to Lucanis; no other characters are shown to be able to hear the demon). If your character has some kind of supernatural passenger or broader enchantment about them, there's a non-zero chance that Emmrich would be able to sense it. If you'd like to give me a better idea of what Emmrich would be dealing with — or if you'd like to opt out and say Emmrich picks nothing up from your character — please let me know in the comments below!
